An airbus departed in front of us. Around 2500 MSL we experienced two large wake bumps. We notified ATC and they told us the aircraft was 7 miles southeast of our position. The fdr might have recorded the event. Time and altitude are approximate.

Title: A CRJ-200 Captain reported encountering wake turbulence from a preceding Airbus on departure.
Narrative: An Airbus departed in front of us. Around 2500 MSL we experienced two large wake bumps. We notified ATC and they told us the aircraft was 7 miles southeast of our position. The FDR might have recorded the event. Time and altitude are approximate.
