Narrative:
This particular aircraft; I have had several times and I wrote up a thrust reverser issue several times in recent months. Recently; I had a reverser light; wrote it up (had this same plane; same problem a couple of other times this year) and began conversing with the company requesting this thrust reverser light issue as well as others I've found be investigated as a chronic; endemic 737 issue. No definitive response has been received. I requested a 'positive corrective action be taken' before sign off; I was also agonizingly descriptive in my write up as to how to make the thrust reverser light turn on. I had this aircraft again today; had same problem again; exact same problem. I again requested positive corrective action; and requested the thrust reverser be pinned. I feel like the pilots are being pushed to accept potentially unsafe aircraft; that are either unable of unwilling to be fixed by maintenance. Please note that this aircraft is only one of several planes I have found this specific thrust reverser issue. Other planes also have had repeat findings by me. Just this aircraft has been a chronic; recent issue. As a parting note; if a thrust reverser extends in flight; it will very likely result in a hull loss. Multiple malfunctions are required for an in-flight deployment. This un-fixed thrust reverser issue on several aircraft; is one of those necessary multiple malfunctions that I fear might lead to an in flight thrust reverser deployment.
