Narrative:
At xa:45 am this morning; I was notified of a discrepancy with a md-88 aircraft; of which I had completed (replace evacuation slides). I was informed that the lock pin from the aft service door evacuation slide inflation valve had not been removed. This was found during a cabin maintenance visit in ZZZ. Seeing as I had an inspector with me at the time of installation; I do not know what could have been done to prevent this.
