Narrative:
After takeoff we were unable to retract the landing gear. Maintenance had just signed off the airplane after working on the gear. We elected to level off and return to the airport. Established on base; the autothrust and autopilot clicked off because we experienced a dual FMGC failure. Again; we leveled off; flew over the runway and requested to come back around for the visual. We hard tuned the ILS frequency; looked up v-speeds in the QRH and landed. The landing gear problem was related to previous maintenance issue. Not sure why we had the dual FMGC failure.
