Training on sector; issued direct routing to dinno on fisel and gissh STAR to fll; uret changed route from gissh to fisel. Automation is the problem here; uret takes over and changes the route automatically. Controllers know the prefered routes. Allow controller to decide which route the aircraft needs.

Title: ZJX Controllers voiced concern regarding the functionality of URET; claiming route changes should only be made by controllers not automation.
Narrative: Training on sector; issued direct routing to DINNO on FISEL and GISSH STAR to FLL; URET changed route from GISSH to FISEL. Automation is the problem here; URET takes over and changes the route automatically. Controllers know the prefered routes. Allow Controller to decide which route the aircraft needs.
