Narrative:
On takeoff at approximately 110 KTS the master caution light illuminated in response to an aft cargo light. A rejected takeoff was initiated and the highest airspeed noted was 118 KTS. All systems performed normally. We taxied clear of the runway; didn't set the brakes and had the airport rescue and fire fighter personnel do an infrared scan of the brakes. Brake temperatures were reported 'cool' with no hot spots. We consulted the brake cooling charts and elected to return to the gate for the required inspection and for the required cool down period. No other issue were evident and the flight did depart later.
