Narrative:
On climb out approximately 5;000 ft master caution illuminated with associated left 'wing body overheat' on overhead. Ran checklist in QRH; and light went out after turning off left pack; then turned off left bleed. Coordinated with dispatch for return. Held for about an hour until weather moved out then returned for safe landing. Weight less than max landing. No emergency declared. Parked at hardstand - while maintenance reviewed problem.

Title: B737 flight crew experiences a Wing Body Overheat shortly after takeoff and elects to return for maintenance. A thunderstorm over the field requires holding before an uneventful return.
