Narrative:
The 100 ll self service fuel at carlisle; ar. 4m3 is not in compliance with FAA flight safety. The fuel pump is of the type used at truck stops for diesel fuel. There is no final screen/filter in the nozzle. No filter protection in the over wing 50 ft hose. The hose is close to 5 years old. This system installed new above ground approx. 5 years ago. The hose is on a reel with no protection from the wx. Elements. There is no emergency electric cut off at the pump... Cut off is 50 feet away. The nozzle has an auto cut off back pressure switch like the ones used for auto gas not allowed for aircraft fuel. There is a structure within 50 feet of the pump. This system at 4m3 will not support a part 135 operation; nor us department int.the last thing I want to go into my aircraft fuel is rubber from the hose.
