Narrative:
While cleared to land; and after gear and flaps were configured for landing and on final approach; at approximately 1;000 ft AGL; the 'power brake press low' and 'antiskid inoperative' annunciators illuminated; indicating a possible problem with braking and antiskid. A go-around was agreed on and executed. During the go-around; after the gear was raised; the annunciator went away but then returned some seconds later. A left traffic pattern was initiated to comply with the abnormal checklist for 'power brake fail'. Complying with the abnormal checklist included resetting the antiskid circuit breaker and this resulted in the annunciator light going out and directed us to resume normal procedures. It was agreed to proceed with a normal landing (except using care when braking in case the antiskid failed suddenly) but to prepare for a possible recurrence by transferring control prior to landing; to the sic (second in command)- with the PIC (pilot in command) thus ready to use the emergency brake if necessary during or after rollout. The landing; including rollout; was normal and the runway was cleared using normal brakes. During the latter portion of taxi-in; as another runway was being crossed just prior to the destination FBO ramp; the brakes suddenly felt spongy and within seconds; the brakes failed completely; with the respective annunciators again illuminating. The PIC applied the emergency brake and the plane was stopped only partly clear of the last runway being crossed. This was reported to ground control and a tug was brought out to pull us uneventfully into the ramp; where normal deplaning took place.
