Narrative:
On climbout at FL280; the crew of flight X noted the rh 14th stage duct overtemp warning. They followed the checklist and reduced the rh power lever to flight idle. The problem went away but then it came back again. The crew declared an emergency and the checklist stated they should land at the nearest suitable airport; which happened to be ZZZ. The crew notified dispatch who contacted the station as well as maintenance control. The aircraft landed without further incident.
