Narrative:
We were level at 10000' with ont approach going into ont. The first officer said, 'traffic 2 O'clock.' I looked and saw an small aircraft (I know an small aircraft, I owned one at one time) same altitude, about 250' to my right southbound. We were wbound on V2. No time to do anything. No traffic advisory on the small aircraft. I called the controller on the ground at ont and I was told the small aircraft was not observed. The small aircraft did not take any evasive action and he passed behind us very close.
