Narrative:
The flight crew quick-donning oxygen mask boxes (captain's and first officer's both); were installed incorrectly. Their positions being swapped with the cockpit speakers on either side of the cockpit. The oxygen masks should properly be forward of the speakers; but instead were installed aft of them. This misconfiguration probably happened at contracted maintenance overhaul in ZZZ.
