Narrative:
Due to a runway closure I believe; my departure was changed from teb 6 (which I had reviewed and was prepared for) to the ruudy 2. I quickly reviewed the ruudy 2 and mistook the altitudes shown as minimums due to the climb gradient shown under 'takeoff minimums.' I reached 2;000 ft while still in the vicinity of the wentz intersection. The controller mentioned that wentz had a max crossing restriction as well. My solution to this is to take more time and thoroughly and more carefully review all aspects of departures and arrivals.
