Narrative:
The designated helicopter landing area for the community hospital is in my opinion hazardous. My military specialty was army aviation, rotary wing. The death and destruction of a helicopter mishap is anything but a mishap when it happens. (It's a disaster area). The rotating wing is the culprit. I have flown three to a contained crash, very little was left of the aircraft, and little of the surrounding area was recognizable. My crew very lucky. My wife, insists that 'experts' and insurance representatives have ok'ed the location. The location is at the front main entrance door, within 100' of telephone poles, 50' of a flag pole, in the middle of the drive/parking lot. This is an accident waiting to happen!!
