Narrative:
During commencement of takeoff roll as power advanced to takeoff power, aft cargo door annunciator light came on. Returned power to idle and rejected takeoff. Taxied back to the ramp area where ground personnel (noa maintenance types) confirmed cargo door was closed. After door was recycled and latch resecured light went out. I then was reclred to taxi and takeoff and continued to destination west/O incident. At some point after arriving at destination airport I talked to maintenance personnel who then checked the aft cargo door and found it slightly out of rig. Although there was no danger of the door coming open in flight, it turns out I should have written the problem up after the rejected takeoff in dtw and had maintenance check the door at that time. We were on the third leg of a 5 leg day of flying and had spent 40 mins in line for takeoff at the time of the incident. I felt pressure to get back in link for takeoff, which probably clouded my judgement. The most prudent course would have been to taxi to the gate and call maintenance.

Title: ACR MLG TKOF ABORT WHEN CARGO DOOR LIGHT CAME ON.
Narrative: DURING COMMENCEMENT OF TKOF ROLL AS PWR ADVANCED TO TKOF PWR, AFT CARGO DOOR ANNUNCIATOR LIGHT CAME ON. RETURNED PWR TO IDLE AND REJECTED TKOF. TAXIED BACK TO THE RAMP AREA WHERE GND PERSONNEL (NOA MAINT TYPES) CONFIRMED CARGO DOOR WAS CLOSED. AFTER DOOR WAS RECYCLED AND LATCH RESECURED LIGHT WENT OUT. I THEN WAS RECLRED TO TAXI AND TKOF AND CONTINUED TO DEST W/O INCIDENT. AT SOME POINT AFTER ARRIVING AT DEST ARPT I TALKED TO MAINT PERSONNEL WHO THEN CHKED THE AFT CARGO DOOR AND FOUND IT SLIGHTLY OUT OF RIG. ALTHOUGH THERE WAS NO DANGER OF THE DOOR COMING OPEN IN FLT, IT TURNS OUT I SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN THE PROB UP AFTER THE REJECTED TKOF IN DTW AND HAD MAINT CHK THE DOOR AT THAT TIME. WE WERE ON THE THIRD LEG OF A 5 LEG DAY OF FLYING AND HAD SPENT 40 MINS IN LINE FOR TKOF AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.
