Narrative:
Fuel planning for VFR flight conditions was sufficient for the mission including IFR reserves. The engine began to run roughly at approximately 10 miles from my destination. Although indicated fuel was sufficient to complete the mission; as a precautionary measure I declared an emergency to expedite straight in landing to the runway.

Title: A PA32R pilot declared an emergency and landed straight in at his airport of intended landing when the engine began running rough approximately 10 miles out. Fuel may have been an issue.
