Narrative:
Upon landing from a scheduled far part 121 flight from nassau, bahamas, is (NAS) to fort lauderdale, florida (fll) a passenger claims an alcoholic beverage was served to the co-pilot during the flight. The passenger then claims the first officer was drinking the alcoholic beverage. The fact is, the flight attendant served the first officer ice water in a styrofoam cup. Upon my awareness of the complaint, I immediately requested a breathalyzer test of myself. The broward county sheriff's office was then brought in at my request. They stated that since it was obvious to the three officers, (one being the sergeant) that I had not been drinking and that no formal complaint had been filed, they would not perform the test. I might add that the passenger did accept an alcoholic beverage during the flight.
