Narrative:
After installing a serviceable trimmable horizontal stabilizer (ths); we were unable to pass the ths operational checks. While troubleshooting for a couple of days [we] found [two] units to be causing our problems. Pitch trim actuator to be bad; installed a replacement unit; ths passed that test. See rejected component tag. Also found transducer was failing [during] spoiler elevator computer (second-2) test. This too was replaced and the ths passed all tests.
