Narrative:

About FL300 aircraft appeared to shift to ground mode. Auto throttle failure; pitot partial failure; constant takeoff warning horn sounding; flap warning; and pages of status messages. This lasted about 10 minutes. Checklists were of no little or no help. Used captain's emergency authority to pull takeoff warning speaker circuit breakers so we could communicate. [Briefed] in flight crew; no evacuation planned. Amber alert by dispatch. Returned to [departure airport] uneventfully.
