Narrative:
During a training flight while in straight-and-level cruise flight the aircraft's left wing anti-skid laminate panel (used to step on while entering or exiting the aircraft) detached. No further visible damage was noted. Laminate piece estimated to be 1-2 pounds and 3 ft x 1 ft in size. Part detached over a sparsely populated area. Flight continued to a safe landing and no abnormal flight characteristics were observed. No abnormal defects were noted during pre-flight inspection. Suspect age and weathering of the adhesive led to the piece detaching.
