Narrative:

The non-standard filed route was: zimmz Q42 btrix Q480 air J110 stl J19 zun ... Upon review; I found the high 3/4 enroute chart did not have the Q480 route and the Q42 route did not start at zimmz or end at brtix. The aircraft did accept the routing and; upon further searching; I discovered the high 7/8 enroute chart did have the correct Q480 and Q42 routes. I searched the lep for the ship set; but was unable to find anything that showed the current dates for the enroute charts. When we arrived; they swapped out our ship sets and gave us new ones. That ship set also had high enroute 3/4 charts with the same date. We did have a chart (the 7/8) we could navigate from; but I do not believe it is wise to be carrying non-current charts (the 3/4). I do not know whether this is because the FAA hasn't sent the information to [the chart maker] or if [the chart maker] has inadvertently failed to produce or swap out the charts. I am unsure why the effective dates of the enroute charts are not listed with the other charts and pages in the lep.
