Narrative:
On climb following takeoff; G1000 tfr circle was not present on the mfd. I believe I climbed out higher than the 1;500 ft AGL tfr at ilg; and did not hear from ilg tower that I had not done so; but since I cannot confirm I thought it best to submit this report. When the tfr circle did appear on the G1000 mfd; I was over top of it; and believe I was above 2;000 ft MSL; but cannot confirm. I did not receive any indication from ilg tower that I had violated the tfr. When climbing out of ilg VFR; I have always had the tfr present on the mfd and avoid it rather than climb over it. For some reason the tfr had not downloaded from xm by the time of takeoff (first time this has happened). I did not discover that it had not downloaded until in takeoff climb. For corrective action; I should confirm while on the ground that all information has downloaded to the G1000 before taking off.

Title: SR22 pilot departing ILG reports possibly entering the VIP TFR 5 NM north during departure. G1000 MFD did not display the TFR until the reporter was inside the lateral boundry.
