Narrative:
We received the load sheet with a total of 43 bags and used that total on our weight and balance. Upon calling back the times; I was informed by ops that the bag count was 73 and not 43 and that they had made an error on load sheet. We adjusted our weights and made the changes to our paperwork and continued the flight uneventfully.
