Narrative:
We were cleared for an ILS 21 into fsd. Shortly after receiving clearance we landed on runway 21 which was closed. We had not been advised by ATC or on ATIS. The following day we received information that an airport worker reported to the FAA that we had landed on a closed runway.1. We told center we wanted the ILS 21. Nothing was said by msp ATC about the runway being closed and we were cleared for the approach.2. No indication was on the runway that it was closed.3. We switched to advisory frequency and stated we were on the ILS 21; no ground personnel indicated that they were on the runway or that it was closed.4. There was no information on ATIS of the runway closure.5. ATC offered any approach; indicating that all runways were open.we feel there should be more warnings of runway closures. Notamed runway closures should be broadcast on ATIS. Ground personnel should have two way radio communications to enhance safety.
