Narrative:
Climbing out felt thump; got immediate multiple ecams; ended up losing green hydraulic quantity and system. First officer ran ECAM then backed up with FM. He spoke with dispatch and maintenance control. I made decision to return; configured starting on downwind. [We were] fully configured; on speed; all checklist completed by 5 miles. Uneventful visual landing and differential braking. [We] had coordinated early for tow to gate.

Title: A319 flight crew experiences a thump climbing through FL200 followed quickly by an ECAM for Green Hydraulic quantity low level. After ECAM actions Captain elects to return to departure airport for an uneventful landing using a gravity gear extension.
