Narrative:
After climb check was complete, left oil pressure began to fluctuate, then a torque fluctuation followed by oil pressure warning light. After the torque fluctuation was noticed, decision to return to peoria airport was made. Left engine was not shut down until on the ground due to short time period and the pressure did not fall below prescribed limits until 5 mi final. I did not want to get involved in engine shut down while on short final due to pilot workload. No aircraft or engine damage occurred.
