Narrative:
While taxiing in at cle, taxiway oscar, slippery surfaces caused the aircraft to slide. The taxiway was covered with packed snow and ice. Quick use of alternating reverse and forward thrust corrected the skid as braking action was nil. We came very close to one of the taxi lights, but it did not appear than any were hit. There was no aircraft damage, just scared pilots. I do not recall that there was any warning on the ATIS. It would have been nice if there had been a previous mention of it. But possibly they didn't know of the conditions either. Anyway, all's well that ends well.
