Narrative:
I was on my rest break and when I returned was told we had loss of green hydraulic system. Dispatch and maintenance had been made aware of status. Said we didn't need to divert; and decision was made to proceed to [destination.] ATC was aware of our status upon check in. Requested equipment standing by. ATC said that they were declaring emergency. We landed; stopped on runway; and were towed in to gate.
