Narrative:
Sdf approach cleared air carrier a xx to 10000' heading 280 degree. At approximately 10400 air carrier B xy an medium large transport, was sighted at my 9 O'clock position and wing up in a turn toward airport. Due to his turn there was no imminent threat of collision. Aircraft passed within 1/2 mile. Both aircraft landed safely. Clearance to 10000 was heard by all crew members and read back to approach control.

Title: REPORTER ACFT SIGHTED ANOTHER AIR CARRIER ACFT IN THEIR VICINITY WHILE DESCENDING FOR APCH TO ARR ARPT. NO REAL CONFLICT TOOK PLACE DUE IN LARGE PART TO OTHER ACFT MANEUVERING AWAY FROM REPORER ACFT AND TOWARD ARRIVAL ARPT.
Narrative: SDF APCH CLRED ACR A XX TO 10000' HDG 280 DEG. AT APPROX 10400 ACR B XY AN MLG, WAS SIGHTED AT MY 9 O'CLOCK POS AND WING UP IN A TURN TOWARD ARPT. DUE TO HIS TURN THERE WAS NO IMMINENT THREAT OF COLLISION. ACFT PASSED WITHIN 1/2 MILE. BOTH ACFT LANDED SAFELY. CLRNC TO 10000 WAS HEARD BY ALL CREW MEMBERS AND READ BACK TO APCH CTL.
