Narrative:
Near midair collision with an small aircraft (I was flying an fgt). On a IFR flight plan flying the 11 DME at 2000' MSL for an ILS to runway 17 at efd, narrowly missed an small aircraft flying VFR. No traffic calls were made by houston approach. Noticed the small aircraft at my 11:30 position and pushed over to avoid. He passed off to my 4 O'clock position and came within 50'.
