Narrative:

Departed fhr in an small transport runway 16, no reported traffic in area. Traffic pattern is right hand. Airport noise abatement requires climb to 1100' MSL before any turns are to be made. I was copilot as well as full check airman in aircraft type. This was our eleventh leg in 10 hours of duty. Upon reaching 500' AGL I called for climb power and initiated a left turn toward our destination of eastbound, wa. Fatigue is my only excuse. The early turn resulted in 3 complaints from the airport neighbors and suspension by the company pending investigation of possible violation of far 91, careless and reckless operation and non standard traffic pattern procedures. The results of the investigation were a nonstandard turn, but no careless and reckless operation. The company gave both myself and the captain a 10 day suspension from flight and a 60 day probationary period.
