Narrative:
Aircraft was parked on the ramp at a complete stop with the parking brake set and both engines not turning or running. The flight just terminated was an far 121 scheduled air carrier passenger flight with an FAA aci aboard riding jump seat. Due to spurious activations of the GPWS on the ground I inhibited the GPWS forgetting far 121.360. This action was not intentional with respect to disregard of far 121.360 and realization of such was not made until much later and too late. Thus no entry was made in airplane maintenance record. Inhibiting the GPWS was in no way a willful or intentional act of misconduct. In reflecting upon this situation and considering the factors relating to human performance I do not believe this occurrence has any bearing upon, nor of such consequence that a serious degradation of my performance or safety was involved.

Title: GPWS DEACTIVATED ON GND BY CAPT. DID NOT ENTER IN MAINTENANCE LOG.
Narrative: ACFT WAS PARKED ON THE RAMP AT A COMPLETE STOP WITH THE PARKING BRAKE SET AND BOTH ENGS NOT TURNING OR RUNNING. THE FLT JUST TERMINATED WAS AN FAR 121 SCHEDULED ACR PAX FLT WITH AN FAA ACI ABOARD RIDING JUMP SEAT. DUE TO SPURIOUS ACTIVATIONS OF THE GPWS ON THE GND I INHIBITED THE GPWS FORGETTING FAR 121.360. THIS ACTION WAS NOT INTENTIONAL WITH RESPECT TO DISREGARD OF FAR 121.360 AND REALIZATION OF SUCH WAS NOT MADE UNTIL MUCH LATER AND TOO LATE. THUS NO ENTRY WAS MADE IN AIRPLANE MAINT RECORD.
