Narrative:
While head down in cockpit, tuning a LORAN on radio check, rear seat pilot was flying. As I looked back up from tuning radio, caught glimpse of what appeared to be a small aircraft passing rapidly over top. After landing, learned from control tower it was an mlt.

Title: CLOSE PROX CPR ACFT ON TEST FLT AND MLT.
Narrative: WHILE HEAD DOWN IN COCKPIT, TUNING A LORAN ON RADIO CHECK, REAR SEAT PLT WAS FLYING. AS I LOOKED BACK UP FROM TUNING RADIO, CAUGHT GLIMPSE OF WHAT APPEARED TO BE A SMALL ACFT PASSING RAPIDLY OVER TOP. AFTER LNDG, LEARNED FROM CTL TWR IT WAS AN MLT.
