Narrative:

On the BYP6 arrival into dfw at 11;000 ft we encountered two rolling wake turbulence episodes about 15 seconds apart. Enquired with dfw approach as to the type of aircraft and distance in trail. Was told we were 6 miles behind a boeing 747. Requested vectors off course to avoid wake. Called flight attendants to make sure everyone was ok. Was told everyone was fine. Upon gate arrival at dfw; number 1 flight attendant notified me that she hurt her left hand. Flight attendant did not want any medical assistance. I had [a] manager meet us at the gate. It was determined by her and flight attendant that she would be removed from the return flight. She was to meet with medical upon arrival.

Title: MD-83 Captain wake vortex encounter in trail of a B747 on approach to DFW resulting in uncommanded roll. A Flight Attendant injured her hand and was removed from the flight after landing.
