Narrative:
I was scheduled to fly from 6/a/89 thru 6/B/89: two trips were X's blocked at 6.9 at = 13.8. Two trips were Y's blocked at 5.0 at = 10.0. One trip at Z blocked at 5.0 at = 5, totaling 28.8. Well my trips on the a and B went well over their block times due to IFR conditions. 6/1/89 = 9 hours, 6/B/89 - 8 hours. Also contributing was my thinking I had received a 29 hour rest between by 6/B/89 day trip and my 6/C/89 evening trip, but in actuality I was short by 2 hours and 50 mins. I didn't discuss this occurrence until entering my last trip Z in my flight log sheet. It was then when I realized what I had done. This certainly occurred accidentally and is regretted. Our company needs to address their scheduling process and certainly shouldn't allow a block of 5 trips without a 24 rest period, when they total 28.8 hours. Especially when these trips in my opinion haven't taken into consideration IFR conditions. They, the company, or especially all 121 operators, should mandatorily be also made responsible in keeping daily records, per 121.471.
