Narrative:
I was flying northbound from centennial airport (denver, co) to greeley's weld county airport. I called buckley angb tower to get a clearance to transit their airspace. Shortly after, I saw what I believe was an small transport out of the corner of my right eye. He was traveling wbound at my altitude, 6800 MSL, or approximately 1400 AGL. I saw that we were on a collision course so I turned the aircraft to the right to evade him. I did not think he saw me because it appeared that he turned into me, or aimed for me. We successfully avoided each other, but at an uncomfortable margin. If either had not taken evasive action, I feel there would have been a good possibility of a midair collision. Since this was uncontrolled airspace, the only option for separation is see and avoid, which we did. The floor of the denver TCA in this area is 7000 MSL. I was aware of this and never penetrated the TCA. I think that the primary cause for the occurrence was simply the see and avoid concept. I realize it is the only way to remain separated in uncontrolled airspace and below 3000' AGL, but it can be very dangerous.

Narrative: I WAS FLYING NBOUND FROM CENTENNIAL ARPT (DENVER, CO) TO GREELEY'S WELD COUNTY ARPT. I CALLED BUCKLEY ANGB TWR TO GET A CLRNC TO TRANSIT THEIR AIRSPACE. SHORTLY AFTER, I SAW WHAT I BELIEVE WAS AN SMT OUT OF THE CORNER OF MY RIGHT EYE. HE WAS TRAVELING WBOUND AT MY ALT, 6800 MSL, OR APPROX 1400 AGL.
