Narrative:
Military trainer making approach to runway 10. Medium large transport taking off runway 28. The military passed under the medium large transport less than 1 mile from the airport. As a pilot, former controller, and frequent flyer, I can say this was dangerous. I called the tower the next day and they said it only looked close to the untrained observer. This sounds like a coverup on top of a dangerous situation.

Narrative: MIL TRAINER MAKING APCH TO RWY 10. MLG TAKING OFF RWY 28. THE MIL PASSED UNDER THE MLG LESS THAN 1 MILE FROM THE ARPT. AS A PLT, FORMER CTLR, AND FREQUENT FLYER, I CAN SAY THIS WAS DANGEROUS. I CALLED THE TWR THE NEXT DAY AND THEY SAID IT ONLY LOOKED CLOSE TO THE UNTRAINED OBSERVER.
