Narrative:
Approach asked if we had RNAV on board. We do not, but have LORAN. Have been told by FSS in the past that since LORAN has no special suffix, for aircraft type, to use '/right'. The FAA should provide a LORAN designation.

Narrative: APCH ASKED IF WE HAD RNAV ON BOARD. WE DO NOT, BUT HAVE LORAN. HAVE BEEN TOLD BY FSS IN THE PAST THAT SINCE LORAN HAS NO SPECIAL SUFFIX, FOR ACFT TYPE, TO USE '/R'. THE FAA SHOULD PROVIDE A LORAN DESIGNATION.
