Narrative:
Fire in lavatory waste container, caused by a young male passenger playing with matches. Smoke detector alerted the F/a's, who promptly and thoroughly extinguished the fire. Second officer and captain inspected the lavatory, noting no apparent damage other than smoke odor. Flight continued to destination uneventfully.

Title: FIRE IN LAVATORY AREA OF ACR WDB CAUSED BY YOUNG BOY PLAYING WITH MATCHES.
Narrative: FIRE IN LAVATORY WASTE CONTAINER, CAUSED BY A YOUNG MALE PAX PLAYING WITH MATCHES. SMOKE DETECTOR ALERTED THE F/A'S, WHO PROMPTLY AND THOROUGHLY EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. S/O AND CAPT INSPECTED THE LAVATORY, NOTING NO APPARENT DAMAGE OTHER THAN SMOKE ODOR. FLT CONTINUED TO DEST UNEVENTFULLY.
