Narrative:

Light transport X was on the ILS approach to runway 11 at columbus metropolitan. Small transport Y was inbound from the east at 3100' and vectored for left downwind for ILS runway 11 and to report airport in sight for a visual approach. Small transport Y was descended to 2100'. The initial altitude for light transport X on the ILS was 2100' also. Small transport Y then descended to 1700' and reported field in sight. 2 mi northeast of airport, small transport Y was asked if light transport X on 1 1/2 mi final was in sight, he responded, 'looking'. Lateral and vertical separation was lost prior to small transport Y advising he had light transport X in sight.
