Passenger found delamination; damage and dent to the area behind the slat on the top part of wing. Maintenance could not guarantee that area would not continue to tear or peel back. Satcom voice also inoperative.

Title: Flight crew reported that a passenger in business class on their B777 aircraft noticed damage; dents and delamination of the right wing upper surface behind the inboard slat; after slat retraction. Aircraft returned to departure airport when Maintenance could not guarantee the damaged area would not continue to tear or peel back.
