Narrative:
After initial contact with departure, the controller said, 'company ahh, turn left 240 degrees, intercept the dfw R-262.' we acknowledged and complied. The controller then came back and questioned later what we were doing, and said that we must have acknowledged another flight, company agh. We disagree. There was a flight agh also in the airspace, but apparently a breakdown in communications, of like flight #'south, like carriers. The controllers never challenged our initial compliance and acknowledgement of the clearance. He obviously did not hear consciously the acknowledgement of the clearance to ensure that the proper aircraft received the appropriate clearance.

Title: ACR WDB TRACK HEADING DEVIATION WHILE DEPARTING DFW.
Narrative: AFTER INITIAL CONTACT WITH DEP, THE CTLR SAID, 'COMPANY AHH, TURN LEFT 240 DEGS, INTERCEPT THE DFW R-262.' WE ACKNOWLEDGED AND COMPLIED. THE CTLR THEN CAME BACK AND QUESTIONED LATER WHAT WE WERE DOING, AND SAID THAT WE MUST HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED ANOTHER FLT, COMPANY AGH. WE DISAGREE. THERE WAS A FLT AGH ALSO IN THE AIRSPACE, BUT APPARENTLY A BREAKDOWN IN COMS, OF LIKE FLT #'S, LIKE CARRIERS. THE CTLRS NEVER CHALLENGED OUR INITIAL COMPLIANCE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE CLRNC. HE OBVIOUSLY DID NOT HEAR CONSCIOUSLY THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE CLRNC TO ENSURE THAT THE PROPER ACFT RECEIVED THE APPROPRIATE CLRNC.
