Narrative:
Considerable changes in the airspace around (dtw) detroit metropolitan airport have taken place. As I was searching for an intersection (polar) which was published differently from what we were cleared to do, I missed the changeover from the mkg VOR to the fnt VOR on V450. We went off course slightly, and ZOB called it to our attention that we were navigating off the wrong VOR. Immediately I corrected back on course, and proceeded on course to the dtw airport. No conflict was called to our attention by ZOB.
