Narrative:
I was working sector 6 when I heard the controller next to me talking to someone at butte, mt FSS. Butte FSS had received complaints of a sonic boom and wanted to know if we had any military aircraft in the sector. The controller on sector 5 told butte FSS that there were no high speed military aircraft in the sector and the conversation ended. Upon further review of the sector, the controller noticed a primary target northeast of the salmon VORTAC moving at a high rate of speed in a southwesterly direction. The supervisor of the area was notified and as the sector 5 controller called butte FSS to inform them, I called the sector 34 controller to inform him of the possibility that the primary target might be an spc entering his airspace. He in turn told his supervisor. The aircraft was later identified as an spc. It had come from winnipeg center where handoffs are not used and had traveled through 3 or 4 slc ARTCC sectors before being identified. Supplemental information from acn 135019: I was working ZLC sector 5. Butte FSS called and asked if I was working an spc aircraft. I stated 'no.' I then started checking around the control room to see if there was an spc in the area. Sector 18 (which abuts winnipeg center) stated that they had a proposal on an spc from canada that was overdue, but they hadn't heard from him yet.

Title: MIL SPC ENTERED AIRSPACE WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION.
Narrative: I WAS WORKING SECTOR 6 WHEN I HEARD THE CTLR NEXT TO ME TALKING TO SOMEONE AT BUTTE, MT FSS. BUTTE FSS HAD RECEIVED COMPLAINTS OF A SONIC BOOM AND WANTED TO KNOW IF WE HAD ANY MIL ACFT IN THE SECTOR. THE CTLR ON SECTOR 5 TOLD BUTTE FSS THAT THERE WERE NO HIGH SPEED MIL ACFT IN THE SECTOR AND THE CONVERSATION ENDED. UPON FURTHER REVIEW OF THE SECTOR, THE CTLR NOTICED A PRIMARY TARGET NE OF THE SALMON VORTAC MOVING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED IN A SOUTHWESTERLY DIRECTION. THE SUPVR OF THE AREA WAS NOTIFIED AND AS THE SECTOR 5 CTLR CALLED BUTTE FSS TO INFORM THEM, I CALLED THE SECTOR 34 CTLR TO INFORM HIM OF THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE PRIMARY TARGET MIGHT BE AN SPC ENTERING HIS AIRSPACE. HE IN TURN TOLD HIS SUPVR. THE ACFT WAS LATER IDENTIFIED AS AN SPC. BUTTE FSS CALLED AND ASKED IF I WAS WORKING AN SPC ACFT. I STATED 'NO.' I THEN STARTED CHECKING AROUND THE CTL ROOM TO SEE IF THERE WAS AN SPC IN THE AREA. SECTOR 18 (WHICH ABUTS WINNIPEG CENTER) STATED THAT THEY HAD A PROPOSAL ON AN SPC FROM CANADA THAT WAS OVERDUE, BUT THEY HADN'T HEARD FROM HIM YET.
