Narrative:
While performing the preflight walkaround; I noticed [a contract ramp person] left paperwork and a pen in the intake of the left engine. This shortcut is completely unacceptable. I waited for him to return and said 'you can't be doing that.'; and he removed the paperwork.the next time I see this I'm disposing of all paperwork and material in the FOD bin. I'm tired of seeing this happen repeatedly.
