Narrative:
Flight completed on feb/fri/90. No problems noted. My company was contacted on feb/mon of an altitude deviation. Allegedly I was cleared to 10000, acknowledged 10000' and was switched from knoxville approach (departure) to ZTL. I checked in with atlanta '...climbing to 11000'.' I was further cleared to climb and we carried out the trip normally, with no hint of any deviation. It is unclear at this point why I would have been climbing to 11000' or why no controller attempted to analyze or correct the situation as it was progressing. I have subsequently been told there was another aircraft that came within 4.6 mi at 11000'. I have been told nashville FSDO will be filing a pilot deviation form and seek a violation.

Narrative: FLT COMPLETED ON FEB/FRI/90. NO PROBLEMS NOTED. MY COMPANY WAS CONTACTED ON FEB/MON OF AN ALT DEVIATION. ALLEGEDLY I WAS CLRED TO 10000, ACKNOWLEDGED 10000' AND WAS SWITCHED FROM KNOXVILLE APCH (DEP) TO ZTL. I CHECKED IN WITH ATLANTA '...CLIMBING TO 11000'.' I WAS FURTHER CLRED TO CLIMB AND WE CARRIED OUT THE TRIP NORMALLY, WITH NO HINT OF ANY DEVIATION. IT IS UNCLEAR AT THIS POINT WHY I WOULD HAVE BEEN CLIMBING TO 11000' OR WHY NO CTLR ATTEMPTED TO ANALYZE OR CORRECT THE SITUATION AS IT WAS PROGRESSING. I HAVE SUBSEQUENTLY BEEN TOLD THERE WAS ANOTHER ACFT THAT CAME WITHIN 4.6 MI AT 11000'. I HAVE BEEN TOLD NASHVILLE FSDO WILL BE FILING A PLT DEVIATION FORM AND SEEK A VIOLATION.
