Narrative:
I was handed over to sdl tower, told to delete the altitude restriction and told to call 1 mi out on final runway 3. The airport and the controller were extremely busy. During my long, straight in approach I noticed aircraft being cleared for immediate takeoff while landing aircraft were on short final and other aircraft still on the runway. I called tower to report while 2 mi (by DME) out and got no response. I saw a single engine small aircraft X on the end of the runway, waiting to takeoff, and I asked tower whether they wanted me to go around. No answer. I asked again and the tower answered yes and instructed me to bear left. I entered downwind and the tower called my base and cleared me to land at the same time. Once again, as I was on final, there was a single engine small aircraft Y at the end of the runway awaiting takeoff (in position and holding for a landing aircraft to roll out). Once again the tower asked me to go around and apologized. I told them I was happy to help. I again entered the downwind, behind an small aircraft Z, and this time landed. After clearing the runway I was asked by ground control to contact the tower. I didn't. I don't even know what they wanted. I do know that pilots or mechanics talking with anyone from the FAA these days makes that airman the target of an inquiry, formal or informal, aimed at finding a basis for possible certificate action. This atmosphere can't be promoting safety.

Title: GA SMA HAS TO MAKE 2 GO AROUND DUE HEAVY TRAFFIC VOLUME AT SDL.
Narrative: I WAS HANDED OVER TO SDL TWR, TOLD TO DELETE THE ALT RESTRICTION AND TOLD TO CALL 1 MI OUT ON FINAL RWY 3. THE ARPT AND THE CTLR WERE EXTREMELY BUSY. DURING MY LONG, STRAIGHT IN APCH I NOTICED ACFT BEING CLRED FOR IMMEDIATE TKOF WHILE LNDG ACFT WERE ON SHORT FINAL AND OTHER ACFT STILL ON THE RWY. I CALLED TWR TO RPT WHILE 2 MI (BY DME) OUT AND GOT NO RESPONSE. I SAW A SINGLE ENG SMA X ON THE END OF THE RWY, WAITING TO TKOF, AND I ASKED TWR WHETHER THEY WANTED ME TO GO AROUND. NO ANSWER. I ASKED AGAIN AND THE TWR ANSWERED YES AND INSTRUCTED ME TO BEAR LEFT. I ENTERED DOWNWIND AND THE TWR CALLED MY BASE AND CLRED ME TO LAND AT THE SAME TIME. ONCE AGAIN, AS I WAS ON FINAL, THERE WAS A SINGLE ENGINE SMA Y AT THE END OF THE RWY AWAITING TKOF (IN POS AND HOLDING FOR A LNDG ACFT TO ROLL OUT). ONCE AGAIN THE TWR ASKED ME TO GO AROUND AND APOLOGIZED. I TOLD THEM I WAS HAPPY TO HELP. I AGAIN ENTERED THE DOWNWIND, BEHIND AN SMA Z, AND THIS TIME LANDED. AFTER CLRING THE RWY I WAS ASKED BY GND CTL TO CONTACT THE TWR. I DIDN'T. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY WANTED. I DO KNOW THAT PLTS OR MECHS TALKING WITH ANYONE FROM THE FAA THESE DAYS MAKES THAT AIRMAN THE TARGET OF AN INQUIRY, FORMAL OR INFORMAL, AIMED AT FINDING A BASIS FOR POSSIBLE CERTIFICATE ACTION. THIS ATMOSPHERE CAN'T BE PROMOTING SAFETY.
