Narrative:
We were cleared for visibility approach behind an air carrier medium large transport Y, runway 26L den. After spending time locating medium large transport Y, we missed the frequency change to tower or at least never heard one. Saw medium large transport Y about 4 mi ahead, followed them to runway 26L and made normal landing. Upon clearing runway to switch to ground control, noticed we were still on approach frequency. Contacted tower, apologized for screw up. They said 'ok no problem', switched us to ground and we taxied to gate.
