Narrative:
On landing rollout aircraft veered to right on centerline and left gear collapsed. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: instrument pilot confirmed that the aircraft is not fitted with brakes on the instrument's right side. He also stated that he was unable to regain control of the aircraft. The aircraft was damaged. The instrument reporter stated that no mechanical cause for the problem could be found. The wind at the time of the incident was light and no factor. No aircraft was in proximity to the runway, thus loss of control due propeller or jet blast is not a consideration. The FAA has investigated the incident, but is not pursuing the matter further. Supplemental information from acn 139637: upon rollout aircraft veered away from centerline. Left brake inadequate to control. Left gear collapsed during ground loop. This occurred during pilot check in aircraft. No brakes for instrument pilot.

Title: SMA GND LOOP AT MRY.
Narrative: ON LNDG ROLLOUT ACFT VEERED TO RIGHT ON CENTERLINE AND LEFT GEAR COLLAPSED. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING: INSTR PLT CONFIRMED THAT THE ACFT IS NOT FITTED WITH BRAKES ON THE INSTR'S RIGHT SIDE.
