Narrative:

Scheduled for 7.8 hours flying and 12 hours on duty, in accordance with far 135. IMC all day and into 8TH hour. First officer PF. Departed eau clair on V78, which is 058 degree right from VOR. PF set in 078 on the obs. PNF did not notice. ARTCC alerted us to being 10 mi to right of arwy. I noticed full deflection on my CDI (which was correctly set to 058 degree right and not the arwy # V78), but it did not register in my mind. After ARTCC notification, I realized PF obs incorrectly set. It was then correctly set and PF returned aircraft to arwy. This was due to fatigue on part of both pilots. Being regularly scheduled for 7.8 hours of flying with 12 hour duty day and 9 legs makes it increasingly difficult to remain alert as the day wears on (especially in IMC).

BEING REGULARLY SCHEDULED FOR 7.8 HRS OF FLYING WITH 12 HR DUTY DAY AND 9 LEGS MAKES IT INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT TO REMAIN ALERT AS THE DAY WEARS ON (ESPECIALLY IN IMC).
